Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this exfoliating cleanser everyday?
Yes, our exfoliating cleanser is gentle enough to be used as part of your daily skincare routine. If you have sensitive skin, we recommend using it 2-3 times a week.
How is this exfoliating cleanser different from an ubtan or a face wash?
Referring to its texture, this cleanser has a powder base, unlike most face washes and doesn’t foam. It is made using natural exfoliants like plant-based AHAs and rice powder. Each of these ingredients work to gently exfoliate your skin, getting rid of dead skin cells and revealing a bright glow. The botanical active ingredients make it a gentle yet potent cleanser that works hard without letting your skin feel like it is.
Will this exfoliating cleanser make me breakout?
The Polish Up Brightening & Exfoliating Face Wash Cleanser is non-comedogenic and will not cause acne. We do recommend avoiding any sort of exfoliation if you are suffering from active acne. Regardless, if you have acne-prone skin, it is always best to consult your dermatologist before including a new product in your skincare routine.
What else do I need to know about the product?
Keep the product in a cool dry place away from sunlight and closed at all times. Make sure you only use the product externally. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with cold water. Always conduct a patch test before trying a new product directly on your face. To test your skin for allergies, apply a 1-inch patch on the inner, lower arm, rub it in and leave for 24 hours, observing any signs of a reaction.
I’m pregnant. Can I use the exfoliating cleanser?
Yes, our formulation is safe for pregnant women. In any case, it is always worth checking with your gynaecologist or dermatologist before you introduce any new skincare products or ingredients in your routine.
